What Makes It Special
From the moment you arrive, the views will take your breath away. Gaze across the Atlantic from the comfort of your sofa, sip a morning coffee watching surfers on the beach, or watch golden sunsets dip into the horizon. The location couldn’t be better - just a five-minute stroll from Porthmeor Beach and a ten-minute wander into town, where you’ll find the picuresque harbour, boutique shops, galleries, and acclaimed and some of Cornwall’s best restaurants. Tucked into a quiet spot with direct access to the South West Coast Path, Day Dawn feels peaceful and private, yet close to everything.
The outdoor space is a real highlight. Fire up the BBQ for a long summer lunch, toast marshmallows in the outside fireplace, or curl up in the egg chair with a book while the kids play in the garden. After a dip in the sea, the hot outdoor shower is a lifesaver. And with parking for four cars (a rare bonus in St Ives), coming and going is stress-free.
Space for Everyone
With five beautifully styled bedrooms, there’s plenty of space. Choose from three king-size doubles (two with sea views), a comfy twin, and a fun triple room with bunk + single bed.
Four bathrooms mean no queues—three are en-suites and there’s also a family bathroom with both bath and shower.
Fresh Egyptian cotton linens, fluffy towels, slippers and even little robes for the kids are included, along with Faith in Nature toiletries so you can pack light.
Eat, Drink & Relax
The house has an “upside-down” layout so the main living spaces soak up the best views. The lounge is light and airy with a Juliette balcony that opens straight to the ocean air. The big kitchen-dining area (with seating for 11) is made for family meals and celebrations, with balcony doors that lead out into the garden.
When it’s time to wind down, head to the TV room for a movie night or gaming session on the large flat screen with Xbox and DVD player.

Travelling with kids? You’ll find toys, board games, books, a cot, highchair, stair gates, and baby gear ready for you.
Grown-ups will love the Bose speakers in the living room and smart TVs in every bedroom, while fast Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected.

We love making guests feel at home, so you’ll find a welcome hamper waiting when you arrive. Surfers and swimmers can make use of the wetsuit and board storage, and we also leave bodyboards for guests to use too.

The house is beautifully decorated, crisp clean linens, clean bathrooms and kitchen. The out door areas are well kept and usable. Loads of space for a larger party of people to spread out and have quiet areas. Its the best house we have stayed in St Ives so far and would book again without hesitation.
